Thursday Imaginisce I Top Project

Happy Thursday

Over at Imaginisce we were given the assignment to come up with a project using the I Top and the Button Daddies.  I love my I Top tool because I can make custom brads and buttons that match whatever project I am working on!  So when I was thinking of and idea I wanted to try my hand at making an altered canvas.  I wanted a little something to remind me of spring with sunshine and flowers. So I dug through my craft supplies and came up with the idea of a canvas with flowers and the centers would be using the button daddies!

I first misted my canvas with a light blue mist.  I then cut some felt flowers using some dies and made my centers using the I Top tool and the awesome paper collections from Imaginisce Childhood Memories and Good Dog.  I sewed the buttons on to the flower and then used my I Bond to glue them onto my canvas.  Next I used my twine to make the stems and found some old ric rac to make the grass.  Finally I added some chipboard clouds and sun.

Would you like to win an I Top prize package from Imaginisce?  Well, head on over to the blog and leave a comment and you could win!!!  Go HERE!

Wednesday Moxxie Lacrosse

Happy Wednesday,

Jack is really in to sports.  So far he has played soccer, flag football, lacrosse, swimming, basketball, baseball, tennis, and he wants to take golf lessons this summer.  I can barely keep up with him.  So far he says his favorite sport is Lacrosse!  He can't wait to start playing it again in the fall.  I was really lucky when I found out that Moxxie had a small collection of Lacrosse paper.  I loved it and knew I needed to make a page with a photo of him.

I still have to make the second video and hopefully I will get that done this week and have it ready for you for next week.

So glad yo stopped by today.  I will be back tomorrow with a new project.  See you then!  Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Monday MME and SOG

Happy Monday,
Did you have a nice weekend?  We sure did here!  My word for the 2013 is BALANCE and I have to say I am doing a much better job at including more balance in.  I actually had time were hubby and I just sat on the  couch together and just relaxed.  I am the type of person that just keeps going and I am trying to learn how to just relax and let a bit go!  So far in 2013 I am doing a great job!

Last school year Jack had an assignment to make a pet rock and this pet rock would be their reading buddy.  There was a contest to make the best one and the winner would get to be on the announcements.  Well, this was a challenge right up my alley!  LOL!!  Jack picked out all the supplies and I  helped hot glue everything on our rock!  Jack won!!  Jack saved his "friend" and he has it in his room.
For my layout I broke out my MME again.  I just totally love this collection.  I am now down to just scraps.  I am so sad :(!  I also used some of my Some Odd Girl sentiment stamps!  For the background I used 2 6x6 papers and on one I cute out on my Silhouette the arrow background.

Friday Some Odd Girl February Challenge

Happy Friday,

I have been so busy lately that I almost forgot about the Some Odd Girl monthly challenge.  It is a sketch challenge and I just loved it so the other night I sat down to color.  You can see all the details of the challenge HERE!
I wanted to try one of the new fairy release digi images and I thought Shy Fairy was just so darn pretty   I wanted some fun pretty paper so I broke into my Jillibean Soup stash once again.  I just had a ball coloring this adorable image.  I just love her outfit and I was so pleased with how her wings came out.  I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I colored my pearls to match the paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I will be back on Monday with all new projects.  I even have a video for you.  I am making a video on my scraproom.  I will see you next week.  Have a wonderful and crafty weekend!

Thursday TAWS Be Inspired #22

Happy Thursday!

For me this is my Friday because tomorrow I have the day off work in order to go to my One week check up from my LASIK surgery.  I am soooo loving my surgery.  Most of the discomfort has all gone away and my vision is perfect ( I think).  Can't wait to find out tomorrow!

Well, The Allay Way Stamps is having their Be Inspired Challenge #22 and you know I look forward to these so much.  I just love trying to come up with something fresh for the challenges. To see the challenge details you can go HERE!

When I saw these awesome colors I immediately thought of spring.  I got out my stamps and got busy with my new chevron stamp.  I think I am totally addicted to this stamp.  I then stamped the chevron is various colors from Jenni Bowlin.  I then stamped the butterfly and colored it in with my spectrum noir markers.  Don't you just love that butterfly.  Next I stamped my sentiment and added some bling and finally added some yummy twine from The Stringery.

Happy Monday!
First I want to say thanks to everyone for all the well wishes on my LASIK surgery.  I have to say it was THE best thing I have ever done.  I am seeing great and back to everyday normal activities.  I still can't exercise yet but I expect to get the all clear this Friday when I have my one week check up!  If you are on the fense about LASIK -- Go for it!!

Well, this is my VERY last layout from 2011 Christmas.  I am finally done!!  It seems like I have been working on 2011 for about 6 months!  LOL!  This is a layout that I did when we went for a holiday brunch and the boys were sitting so nice together, but unfortunately it wasn't a great photo.  For this layout I used some of my Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker paper.  Love shopping in my stash.  I then added a fun flair button!

Happy Valentine's Day 2013

Happy Valentine's Day!

Do you have any special plans for this wonderful day?  I always make special cards for my 3 favorite guys.  I have little gifts for the boys to open.  Michael is getting a new Lego Ninjago sticker book and Jack is getting $5.  He LOVES money.  He is  a great little saver and he is awesome with his money.  I can't believe that a first grader is so in tune with money.  Right now he is really into Minecraft.  I got the free version on my ipad but he he wanted the full version so he had to pay for 1/2 of it.  Now he wants to get some of the additional aps and this $5 will get him a couple of them.  He is going to be so excited!  Jeff and I don't exchange anything really for Valentine's day.  We exchange cards and that is about it.  My view on Valentine's day is that why is there just one day- shouldn't every day be Valentine's day with the people you love?

Here is a card that I made for hubby.  I used the Imaginisce Love You More collection along with Some Odd Girl Stamps.
supplies
paper- imaginisce
stamps- digi and clear- some odd girl
